The Society is committed to maintaining its strong bond with the Greek Diaspora. Its president, Vassilios Pappas, has been very successful in his extensive travels all over the world to cities with large Greek communities. He has also been instrumental in promoting the rich cultural heritage of Chalkidiki and Mount Athos and in strengthening the ties between the region and Greeks abroad.

The president of the company Mr. Vassilios Pappas, often at his own expenses always visited them (almost all the Diaspora), lived near the pulse and the fighting spirit, diligence and their fulfillment. Moreover, most strongly felt their ardent desire to contribute to solving national issues. Main stations in these travel-missions were the United States and Australia, where he spoke and raised Halkidiki (yesterday - today - tomorrow) and the Holy Mount and demonstrated our national issues.

With great success ended the work of the 60th Pammakedonikou US Congress held in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the presence of the Reverend Mr. America Demetrius, the Greek Ambassador to the US Mr. Hair and Mr. Vasileiou Pappa, President of the Historical and Folklore Society of Chalkidiki.
